DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing clerical and administrative support functions within Bucks County. Your duties will include managing various human resources activities for the county while also supervising the clerical operations that are essential to the county's administrative framework. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, as you will be handling sensitive information related to personnel and organizational processes. Your ability to coordinate tasks effectively and lead a team of clerical staff will be crucial in ensuring that the county's administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
    • Work hours subject to change based on operational needs
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
