Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education based course. |

Job Description |
The Department of Mathematics needs part-time or adjunct faculty to teach 1000 and 2000-level mathematics courses at
UNCP. These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess Ph.D. or Master's degrees in mathematics or mathematics education. Excellence in teaching and learning conducted within a rigorous and stimulating environment is an important core value of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Mathematics Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, and part-time faculty are expected to exhibit and maintain campus and department standards.
We are seeking adjunct instructors for both online and in-person courses. Applicants must specify in their cover letter whether they are available to teach online, in person, or both.
Work Location: Main campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. |
