SUMMARY

The Lead Analyst, Population Health Quality is responsible for managing all data and reporting requests from proposal through completion using project management skills, tools and methodology. This position requires the analysis of health care metrics ranging from MIPS & HEDIS measures to internal process and outcome population health metrics. The Lead Analyst, Population Health Quality works in conjunction with the Director of Population Health Operations & Analytics, Business and Clinical Intelligence, EPIC Clinical Applications and supports Population Health departments as a subject matter expert. This position proposes, identifies, analyzes, and validates data used to drive performance improvement and creates reporting to tell a story to a variety of audiences. The Lead Analyst, Population Health Quality will provide technical/subject matter expertise system-wide regarding healthcare quality metrics and analytics to understand the health of the populations of patients for which they provide services. The Lead Analyst, Population Health Quality must comprehend sophisticated clinical and financial business process, data quality issues, data use and other areas of special focus for data being analyzed. This position will interact with executive management, physicians, department leaders, and clinical staff to provide the data and analyses necessary for effective decision-making. This position requires an advanced information technology skillset, project management experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

The position will report to the Director of Population Health Operations & Analytics. This position will have no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Information Technology, or related fields.

Five (5) or more years of job-related experience

2 or more years of leadership experience; will consider applicants who have worked in a supervisory capacity or led department analytics projects in lieu of title
