Full Stack Developer, Senior (PRN)

Job Overview: LCG Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer, Senior (PRN) to support the Grants team in the development and maintenance of the Application Review Module (ARM). This PRN (as-needed), fully remote role offers an opportunity to work across the entire technology stack-front-end, back-end, databases, and cloud infrastructure. The position requires a balanced focus on systems analysis and full-stack application development, delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern development frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Analyze system requirements and create detailed technical specifications for application enhancements and new features.
• Write, test, and debug high-quality code using languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Conduct unit testing and create test plans to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Utilize front-end and UI/UX design tools to build user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate APIs and manage database interactions across platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Deploy applications using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM) and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Tomcat).
• Create and maintain system documentation, data flow diagrams, and deployment guides.
• Follow Agile best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in full-stack development and systems analysis.
• Proven experience with cloud-based architecture (preferably AWS).
• Strong skills in both front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency with databases, API integration, and deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as Struts MVC and iBatis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred

• Experience in grants management systems or similar domains.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for salary is $60/hr to $65/hr benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
