HR Manager - Power Transmission, Fluid Power and Global Functions US

Purpose:

  • Responsible for creating HR strategic plan for business(es) including staffing/recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, salary administration, HRIS maintenance, employee relations, business partnership, performance management, recordkeeping and training
  • Provide hands-on day-to-day management of all human resources functions
  • Partners with VP/GM and Global Functions Leaders and HRBPs to solve organizational and people issues

Accountabilities:

  • Act as HRBP for senior leaders to build strategy related to talent, FTE planning, budget in support of strategic plan
  • Manage staffing and recruiting process in collaboration with Talent Acquisition shared services, ensuring positive and efficient experience to meet business needs
  • Communicate with employees and vendors to resolve any compensation or benefits issues
  • Support benefits and leave administration including enrollment, change reporting, claims and vendor management and renewal
  • Draft and communicate key messages to employees and is a company ambassador
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and support as a US shared service
  • Maintain training records, manage offboarding and conduct exit interviews
  • Complete compensation and market surveys and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Lead employee investigations related to code of conduct
  • Support creation of US Shared Services and lead the training initiatives for the US related to HR processes and development
  • Organize training, development and teambuilding of local staff
  • Support global HR transformation initiatives, employee survey actions and participate in key project workstreams, drive continuous improvement and automation leveraging AI
  • Prioritize department workload and manage/develop team

Shared accountabilities

  • Participate actively in safety program, maintain training matrix, assist with investigations, file claims and assist employees
  • Partner with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues, provide coaching to management and employees
  • Administer OHI and work together with key stakeholders on communication, action plan and follow up
  • Coordinate employee relations and company-sponsored functions including employee events and wellness activities

Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders

  • Provide recommendations that enhance performance and business opportunities to business and HR team
  • Key stakeholders VP HR - Americas, VP/GM PT/FP, Global Functions Leaders - Finance, HR, ICT, Supply Chain
  • Ensure alignment with global Human Resources standards to build high performing organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills
  • Minimum 10 years in HR generalist/management role in manufacturing
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills - MS Word, Excel, PPT
  • Prior experience with HRIS and report writing
  • Able to work in the US and travel 25%
  • Spanish bilingual and certified HR professional preferred
  • Experience in Learning & Development with strong presentation skills desired
