We're seeking a Senior Video Producer and Editor to join our digital marketing team and lead the visual storytelling efforts for Layton Construction. We want someone who will: Raise the bar for construction marketing content Build past conventional limits of what construction videos can be Lead the charge on establishing new creative and digital standards Think like an entrepreneur while working for an established industry leader Your Mission: Turn construction into cinema. This role will be the creative force behind the visual narratives that showcase Layton's expertise, breathe life into concrete and steel, and make our audiences say, "I had no idea construction could be this cool." From concept to final cut, we're seeking a talented Senior Video Producer and Editor to elevate our brand and demonstrate why we're leaders in construction. What We're Looking For Technical Mastery Minimum of 6 years professional video production and editing experience Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition) required Proficiency in Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D or similar 3D software a plus but not required Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent work experience. Advanced skills in color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics Advanced understanding of social media and streaming platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) Camera operation expertise for challenging environments (including active construction sites) Drone operation and Part 107 certification; experience with FPV drones a significant advantage Understanding of various codecs, formats, and platform optimization Adapt video content for multiple formats including social media, website, presentations, and trade shows Creative Vision Exceptional storytelling abilities and script writing with an eye/ear for compelling narratives Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging visual content Experience developing content strategies for B2B audiences Strong visual composition and cinematography skills Understanding of brand consistency and visual identity maintenance Experience creating technical or educational video content Portfolio demonstrating construction, industrial, or technical content preferred Leadership, Project Management, and Extreme Ownership Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts Strong communication and collaboration skills Travel independently to Layton jobsites and offices nationwide to capture on-location footage and interviews, operating as a self-directed professional ambassador for our brand (up to 30% travel) Strictly adhere to all jobsite safety protocols and wear required PPE during on-site shooting Build and manage a comprehensive video content library What We Offer (Beyond the Paycheck) Opportunity to tell compelling stories for a forward-thinking company Access to latest equipment and software Creative freedom to develop innovative content approaches Collaborative environment with diverse subject matter experts Professional development opportunities and continued education support Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience) and comprehensive benefits package (401K Matching, Employee Stock Program, Gym Reimbursement, Cell Phone Coverage, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Company Paid Disability, Company Paid Identity Theft Protection, Voluntary Plans, Time Away) Travel opportunities to see our projects firsthand across the United States This position is based out of our Sandy, UT office and is 100% in-office.
