Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical area with engineering/science background 2 years minimum experience (5-10 preferred) of environmental compliance experience/training Industrial experience a plus Experience with Federal and State electronic reporting and submission platforms (SLEIS, CEDRI, TRI-MEweb, MOEIS, CEDR, etc.) Reporting and practical application of regulatory requirements Experience with the CWA, NPDES permitting, and wastewater treatment Knowledge of FRP, SPCC, and SWPPP plan requirements Air construction and operation permitting a plus Proficient in Excel and skillful with other computer and software programs Strong analytical thinking, negotiating, and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication to internal and external contacts Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments Strong attention to detail and time management skills
AGP is seeking a qualified and competent individual to assist multiple facilities in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environment regulations. This technical position is also responsible for managing aspects of environmental compliance and technical support for various capital and facility maintenance projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide environmental support for engineering and operations construction projects. Provide technical, procedural, and policy support for NPDES, wastewater, stormwater, and/or air permits and applications. Complete environmental reporting in support of facility operations. Assist facilities in the completion of required environmental testing and reporting. Review completed reports for completeness and accuracy. Assist in the use of Environmental Management System by implementing, training, and supporting end users. Maintain relationships and perform as liaison between AGP, facilities, and regulatory agencies. Maintain current regulatory knowledge through reviewing applicable current and proposed codified regulations, statutes and interpretive guidance. Participate in relevant industry forums. Assist facilities in the completion of required environmental testing and reporting requirements. Review completed reports for completeness and accuracy.
