Job Description:

re you ready to lead innovation and shape the future of engineering? At AriensCo, we're looking for a dynamic leader to drive high-performing engineering teams across multiple product categories. In this role, you'll oversee new product development and sustaining initiatives, champion platform strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering priorities with business goals. If you're passionate about electrification, automation, and digital integration-and ready to make a strategic impact-this is your opportunity to lead with purpose and precision.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams across multiple product categories

  • Oversee the execution of new product development (NPD) and sustaining engineering initiatives

  • Ensure adherence to the Ariens Co Product Development process, engineering standards, design validation (V&V), and Quality Operating System

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Quality, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to align engineering priorities with business objectives

  • Champion platform strategies and subsystem reuse to drive efficiency and scalability

  • Serve as a key contributor to the Technical Council and design standards governance

  • Support strategic initiatives such as electrification, automation, and digital integration

  • Manage engineering budgets and resource capacity planning

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and best practices

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B. S.) from a four-year accredited institution with a focus being relevant to the key responsibilities outlined above

  • Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or vehicle systems

  • Proven track record of leading complex engineering programs and cross-functional teams

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, systems engineering, and quality systems

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
