Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Contract Manager to support procurement and contract administration activities in support of emergency operations. This role is responsible for obtaining vendor quotes, facilitating resource and service procurement, monitoring contract execution, validating vendor performance, and tracking incident-related financial documentation and invoices.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Obtain quotes from vendors to support operational requirements





  • Facilitate the procurement of resources and services in compliance with applicable policies





  • Monitor executed contracts to ensure vendor performance aligns with terms and expectations





  • Track and maintain incident-related financial documentation associated with contracts





  • Validate invoices for accuracy, contract alignment, and appropriate documentation





  • Coordinate with finance, logistics, and legal staff as needed to support contracting activities





  • Assist in audit preparation and financial reviews related to contracts





  • Ensure contract files and documentation are complete and properly stored




Basic Qualifications:




  • 2+ years of work experience in a contract management or procurement role





  • Working knowledge of state statutes, rules, and codes





  • Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or equivalent certification





  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts concurrently





  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract tracking systems





  • Must be a U.S. citizen




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience supporting contract management in an ICS or EOC setting





  • Familiarity with FEMA procurement and contracting guidelines





  • Knowledge of government procurement and invoicing processes





  • Experience working with vendors in time-sensitive, high-volume environments

Working Environment:

The usual work environment is an office or EOC setting at a location determined by assignment. The role may involve occasional lifting of computers and equipment (generally not exceeding 50 lbs.), typically in connection with off-site transport. Travel regularly includes locations throughout the continental United States and its territories. Duties may involve extended work periods beyond 12 hours per day, work in outdoor/austere conditions, and prolonged driving to work sites.
