A Day in the Life of an NP-Oncology In this multifaceted role, the NP or PA will operate as a critical member of our general surgery team, primarily focusing on inpatient care, surgical assistance, follow-up visits, and consultations. Responsibilities include first or second surgical assisting in both traditional and robotic procedures, ensuring comprehensive patient care. You'll be integral to inpatient rounds, working collaboratively with a robust hospitalist and surgical team to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires effective management of patient care documentation and initiating necessary diagnostics and referrals. Expect a balanced workload spanning OR, clinical consultations, and inpatient care, within a supportive environment equipped with advanced medical technology. About the Advanced Practice Providers Department: Expert Care, Lasting Impact As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, you are a trusted healthcare professional, delivering high-quality care in both primary and specialty settings. Whether diagnosing conditions, managing treatment plans, providing preventative care, or guiding patients through complex medical concerns, APPs play a vital role in ensuring accessible, patient-centered healthcare. Working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and care teams, you bring expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate communication to every patient interaction. With a focus on evidence-based practice, continuity of care, and holistic treatment approaches, APPs enhance patient outcomes and improve overall community health. The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Please keep in mind that the actual pay rate offered could be higher for some candidates depending on many factors including each individual employee's experience level and/or preferred education or certifications.
