Description

American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for a Warehouse Operations Manager in our location in Henderson, NV.

Previous warehouse experience in a Special Event, Tradeshow, or Party Rental distribution center environment required. Local candidates with a warehouse skills and knowledge a must. Others do not apply.

Able to work some weekends or late as necessary.This is a hands-on job

Salary DOE $65,000 - $75,000 per year plus benefits.

Resume must be professional, well written & polished in order to be selected.

Must have excellent computer skills.

Associate or bachelor's degree in business or similar preferable and able to work weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warehouse Admin Manager is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager and Warehouse Manager with the various administrative work activities of the warehouse, fostering teamwork and AFR culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintain Operational Files.
  • Report all injuries and accidents to insurance carrier via website form.
  • Maintain DOT/Employee Files.
  • Administer reporting of all Safety related materials.
  • Maintain Fungible/Pillow Inventories.
  • Order supplies at the direction of the Branch Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required by management.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:



  • High School Diploma
  • Languages: English and Spanish languages, verbal and written


EXPERIENCE:



  • Previous warehouse experience in a Special Event, Tradeshow, or Party Rental distribution center environment required.


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Ability to perform complex tasks, rational thinking and numerical calculations is required.
  • This job will require a high level of physical movement in a warehouse environment.
  • This job will require lifting and/or moving objects up to 75 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and being physically active for extended periods of time.
