Position Overview

The Cologuard Technical Monitoring and Response Specialist supports the monitoring, analysis, and maintenance of technical systems that enable order-to-cash operations. This role works closely with IT and business teams to ensure systems are functioning as expected, issues are identified and escalated, and data is accurately tracked and reported.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop an understanding of the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support/maintenance of in-use and future technologies that are critical to ensuring order-to-cash operations.
  • Monitor system performance and identify and escalate technical issues.
  • Document workflows and technical configurations.
  • Provide basic support for Epic systems and related technologies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure systems deliver intended value and are compliant; recommend best practices that optimize workflow efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and solutions tailored to the specific requirements of Epic systems users.
  • Translate technical builds and business rules into comprehensible formats for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on updates to tools and systems relevant to the role in addition to industry trends and advancements in technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Develop and maintain trusting and effective partnerships and successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders in Customer and Digital Experience, Market Access, Revenue Cycle, IT, Marketing, Commercial, and Health Systems / HIT.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to audit and resolve complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing work environment with rapidly-changing needs and requests.
  • Ability to make decisions with limited information and operate with autonomy.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location; may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support, systems analyst, or IT operations role.
  • Basic understanding of system integration and data workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Epic systems or other healthcare IT platforms.
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, or preventive health markets.
  • Experience in the healthcare or biotechnology industry.

Salary Range:

$74,000.00 - $122,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
