Position Title: Lab Technician in Central Service

Work Location: Millsboro, DE 19966

Assignment Duration: 12 months

Work Schedule: Initial coverage from 6:00am-2:30pm; department operates 7 days a week with 2 days off rotating weekly; potential for overtime and schedule changes

Position Summary: A Laboratory Technician is responsible for critical laboratory procedures and duties in the production of veterinary products.

$19.46 / Hourly

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Sciences preferred/High school or equivalent required.
• Some practical experience heavily preferred.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
• Perform procedures including the washing, wrapping, and sterilization of equipment, loading/unloading of autoclaves, movement of materials, decontamination of wastes.
• Maintain accurate and reliable record keeping including charts, log books, and all pertinent documentation.
• Communicate any unusual and/or non-routine occurrences when performing tasks.
• Cleaning work areas.
• Equipment setup and operation.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to all safety and company policies, perform duties assigned by department supervision.
