Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Tempe, AZ

Here's what you'd do:

  • Assembly operators perform day-to-day production activities using the most current procedures to maintain production schedules.
  • Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform visual checks of the product to assure quality.
  • Performing various routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Produce a quality product that meets the customer specifications and maintain sufficient inventory to satisfy our internal and external customers.
  • Monitor data from various meters and sensing devices that measure vacuum, temperature, and torque.
  • Maintain accurate record entry using the onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS).
  • Define complex equipment issues and quality levels while informing engineering of any process, component, etc. that deviates from standard processing.
  • Perform other duties as required. Qualifications.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $21.50/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical experience (airplane, shop, engines).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Ability to become familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Teamwork oriented; able to meld quickly to the team.
  • Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
  • Must have good problem-solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
  • Must be able to multitask while monitoring multiple stations.
  • Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Able to complete assigned work on time to keep production schedule while maintaining acceptable yields as determined by area supervisors and engineers.
  • Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to the job.
  • Demonstrate speed and accuracy in accomplishing trained tasks.
