Your Challenges: Primary Responsibilities: Assist in comprehensive pre-purchase review: 35%
Review/audit airframe and/or engine technical documentation for errors and omissions to ensure potential company assets have complete documentation in support of business and regulatory requirements. Required in order for Senior Management to carefully evaluate, in order to accurately determine acquisition price.
Assist in records review of engine lease returns/acceptance: 20%
Review installation/removal documentation in addition to life limited parts, A.D.'s, SB's, QEC/Accessories necessary for end of lease acceptance. Update all necessary VAS documentation prior to the asset being leased to another customer.
Assist Sales and Customer Service: 25%
Answer questions and provide any additional technical documentation a customer may require in finalizing a purchase. Provide comprehensive data packages to internal and external customers. Provides post-sale / post-lease support to external customers in answering technical questions, researching / obtaining technical data and supplying customer-required documentation.
Audit / prepare technical documentation: 15%
Audits technical documentation for select Company owned and customer inventory Prepares Life Limited Part Summaries and individual trace packages. Assists in the preparation and shipment of records packages to customers for leased / sold engines and other Company equipment. Scans select technical and trace documents Performs specialized technical research in support of individual Sales personnel and projects
Additional Responsibilities: 5%
Assists in evaluating newly released Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directives / OEM Service Bulletins and their impact on potential sales, leasing and operational life of engine fleet. Research records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities and previous owner / operators in obtaining life limited part trace and complete operational and technical engine and aircraft documentation. Assist in the continual improvement of operations to decrease turnaround time Other duties as assigned:
Identifies and oversees the scanning of select technical and trace documents Performs specialized technical research in support of individual Sales personnel and projects Travels to outside locations to perform customer-based reviews as required
Your Boarding Pass: Required:
Minimum 3-5 years in aviation technical records or related field Eligible for employment in the US, Authorized to work in the US. Able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorship. Microsoft Office 365 proficiency Adobe Acrobat proficiency English language fluency, both written and verbal Proficient in SAP systems Proficient in Excel
Preferred:
2-year degree or equivalent work experience Familiar with the ATA system and aircraft maintenance terminology Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations Familiarity with OEM documentation A&P license/certification
