Full Time Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA preferred
* 10+ years experience in bank lending and credit * 10+ years management experience with experience managing all aspects of the loan and credit process in a commercial bank environment. * Proven success implementing bank-wide lending strategies * Ability to set team goals and objectives, develop strategies, budgets, policies and procedures; initiative to organize various functions necessary to accomplish department or Bank activities; effectively staff (selecting, training and developing employees); directing employees towards the desired objectives (delegating, motivating, resolving problems); controlling the function (developing performance standards, measuring results, taking corrective action and rewarding employees as appropriate). * Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. * Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training for multiple employees using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity * Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze and interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to various audiences. * Strong understanding of relevant banking laws and regulations * Detail oriented and ability to multi-task * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy * Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and positively interact with peers to achieve bank-wide initiatives and goals. Job Description
* Oversee and provide active and effective management of all the Bank's Credit Administration functions to include Commercial Loan Analysis and Underwriting, Portfolio Management and Reporting, Loan Operations, and Loan Administration.
* Maintain the credit policies and procedures of the Bank to ensure consistent and sound lending practices across the organization. * Ensure adherence to credit policies across the loan origination process. * Effectively monitor and manage concentration risk in the Bank's loan portfolio while also identifying and assessing emerging credit risks within the portfolio. * Implement strategies to mitigate credit risk through relevant credit guidance that aligns with current economic cycles, budgeted growth plans, and risk tolerance levels. * Ensure that all credit-related activities comply with relevant banking laws and regulations and the Bank's loan policies and procedures. * Assist in determining the adequacy of the allowance for credit loss. * Prepare detailed loan portfolio management reporting and present to the Bank's Executive Management Committee and the Board of Directors * Act as a liaison to regulatory examiners, external loan review, and external auditors. * Participate in the development and implementation of the Bank's strategic objectives. * Assists with other projects and duties in conjunction with the Chief Lending Officer and/or Chief Executive Officer * Lead and motivate a team of direct report senior level management. * Communicate effectively with all staff, management and the Bank's Board building effective relationships with key stakeholders. * All other duties as assigned Physical Requirements:
