A Brief Overview
This Resource Coordinator I will support members of the 22q and You Center within the Division of Human Genetics. This position offers enormous opportunity for broad exposure to research and clinical activities including genetic counseling and is a wonderful fit for someone who is interested in pursuing an advanced degree in such areas as medicine, basic science, genetic counseling, neuropsychology, etc. in the future.

What you will do

  • Clinical / Program Coordination
  • Coordinate and track clinical, program or research activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for activities.
  • Assist with the review, editing and submission of documentation including grants, manuscripts, galleys, proofs, articles, publications and presentations.
  • Assist in the maintenance and improvement of protocols and processes.
  • Assist with financial functions including budgets, reimbursements, invoices, expenses, purchase orders, renewals, funding, variances and financial reports.
  • Maintain systems, databases, procedures, and websites for records and reporting.
  • Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
  • Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
  • Administrative Support
  • Prepare and coordinate meetings, interviews, committees, conferences and calendars including schedules, travel, agendas and minutes.
  • Prepare presentations, letters, reports, memoranda, and related materials.
  • Assist in message creation and development including website content, fact sheets, correspondences, emails, lectures, social media posts and other formats.
  • Track and manage materials and inventory, and coordinate supply purchasing
  • Other duties and administrative support projects as assigned.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year of research, coordination or administrative experience - Required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare related environment - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations (Preferred proficiency)
  • Basic proficiency with electronic medical record software (EPIC) (Preferred proficiency)
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Preferred proficiency)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (Required proficiency)
  • Strong customer service skills (Required proficiency)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (Required proficiency)
  • Solid time management skills (Required proficiency)
  • Solid organizational skills (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels (Required proficiency)

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
