Could you be the full-time hybrid Train Validation Manager in West Mifflin, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of Certification & Authorization (C&A) and Validation processes, driving the success of Automated People Mover (APM) Rolling Stock projects. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Tender, Project Execution, and Central C&A Metier), manage site-level validation staff and resources, and optimize validation methodologies and tools-and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Managing the performance of Certification & Validation QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). ,



  • Ensuring Certification & Validation efficiency and risk coverage. ,



  • Developing and implementing continuous improvement approaches for CV organization, test referential, and training. ,



  • Deploying standard processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure Certification and Validation efficiency. ,



  • Managing and optimizing site validation resources, including staff, tools, and laboratories. ,



  • Ensuring CV awareness and alignment across sites within the TDS organization. ,



  • Supporting tender phases by providing Certification & Validation deliverables, schedules, and quotations. ,



  • Assuring the adequacy, consistency, and quality of project Certification & Validation deliverables. ,



  • Networking with peers across sites to share workload and competencies under the guidance of the Central C&A Metier and Validation Director. ,



  • Leading Return on Experience reviews to propose process improvements and define organizational changes."

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field. ,



  • Experience or understanding of hands-on activities in Domain activities across multiple projects (e.g., Railways, Automotive, or Aerospace). ,



  • Familiarity with train system knowledge (e.g., system analysis, railways). ,



  • Strong communication capabilities. ,



  • Team management experience, including multi-metiers or multi-sites teams. ,



  • Ability to work with and deploy standard processes, methodologies, and tools. ,



  • Continuous improvement mindset for processes, tools, and organization. ,



  • Ability to manage resources, including staff, tools, and validation means. ,



  • Resilience and adaptability to lead Return on Experience reviews and drive organizational learning.
