Program Manager - Junior LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Full-Time CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL: No Travel Required Be the Difference Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager supporting the Astrion Air Force Division. Our team is searching for up and coming new members that can help us provide program oversight and financial management support to our Air Force customer. We are looking for people that can bring a strong foundation in one of the listed areas and are motivated to learn the others. Position responsibilities can span program management to cybersecurity testing. This position provides support to the CTG Management Team at Eglin AFB, FL and the DoD community in improving test program management for Astrion and for major DoD programs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 years of experience required.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to learn DOD acquisition, DT&E and OT&E processes.
- Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders to define project scope, maintain project status, develop schedules and budgets, and develop project documentation.
- Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communications skills and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Proficient in the use and integration of MS Office Word, Excel and Power point applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare test cost estimates, customer test agreements, test directives and other project documentation.
- Determine test requirements and manage test projects including mission planning systems, flight test, weapons testing, electronic warfare testing, software testing or cybersecurity testing.
- Manage the financial status of test projects including coordinating with financial managers, monitoring funding documents, verifying expenses, and complying with DOD financial and contractual guidance.
- Coordinate test resource requirements with customers, leadership and test engineering personnel.
- Coordinate test project approvals, safety, technical support, range management, facilities, logistics, security and reporting for assigned programs.
- Manage project information using Government test management systems for documentation workflows, finance management and project management.
