This position has the primary responsibility for operational and system management, and technical support while completing quantitative analyses and modeling for determining inventories, technical report writing, supporting technical standard writing, interacting with customers, and administrative support. Utilization of both traditional and updated protocols while supporting the Program Manager and other team members. This position will provide key and operational activities support. Activities will be focused on conducting technical programmatic, contract, and budget/cost oversight of contractor activities. Operational activities will provide operational technical continuity to the sustained operational workflow and implementation of programs, projects, and facilities. Additionally, this position will maintain and actively track multiple development projects, plan system updates, research emerging technologies, and provide recommendations and status updates as necessary.
- Provides authoritative technical decisions, advice, and consultation on variables and unknowns affecting planning, integration, coordination, and complex problems, e.g., safety, risk, technology development, costs, and performance.
- Leads investigations and risk analyses to resolve critical problem areas such as resource analysis, technical and engineering operations management, configuration management, mission operations, payload utilization, while improving performance.
- Responsible for driving results with strong customer focus.

- Routinely solve complex customer problems across multiple project lines.
- Conduct data analysis and modeling.
- Interpret results of analysis and prepare written reports.
- Participate in the development and implementation of technical standards relevant to this position.
- Provide integrated comments and insight to engineering for their review and incorporation.
- Coordinate and participate in program document and design reviews, develop corresponding summary assessments, and follow up on resulting actions.
- Develop position papers, presentations, and/or requirements interpretations for issues.
- Assist in the development of project tracking tools, such as detailed milestone schedules, objectives, outcomes, and goals.
- Work closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation pans that will maintain and grow sales within team territory.
- Ensure that assessment documentation and other client records are properly executed and maintained
- Assist in the creation and/or maintenance of program documents.
Education |
- Associates degree is required. Related work experience may substitute for the education requirement. Each 2 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of college.

Experience |
- Previous experience in a team environment and ability to multitask, attention to detail, critical thinking, and adaptability are essential.
- NASA JSC experience preferred
- Familiarity with NASA project development and flight/payload operations processes, preferred.

License, Cert or Registration |
- Current drivers' license, proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the US and the ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain a government facility clearance badge.
