Operations Compliance Administrator

$80,000 to $95,000 DOE


The Operations Compliance Administrator assists in ensuring Arizona state law compliance with Certificate of Necessity (CON) requirements, contracting and Requests for Proposals (RFP's), coordination with internal and external key stakeholders such as the Arizona Department of Health Services for responses to data requests or requests for information. Assists with education and training; establishes, monitors, and evaluates key compliance controls (CON or specific contract requirements) to ensure the achievement of the operating company's operations and state compliance programs. Will work with internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory obligations demonstrating expertise within emergency medical services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Regular review of all operational documentation, licensure, and contracts to ensure they comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Identify compliance issues and provide recommendations for changes
  • Assist in market operations / CON optimization through data review and analysis
  • Assist in providing training to employees with respect to market compliance
  • Develop, prepare, and review reporting documents in preparation for submissions
  • Develop, prepare, and review reports on the status of compliance activities
  • Stay current with Medicare and Medicaid changes, procedures, and legislation
  • Travel is required approximately 10-15% of the time.


QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Education

  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience in emergency medical services to include regulatory knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience with Arizona Revised Statutes pertaining to emergency medical services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field. (May substitute for equivalent work experience)
  • Master's Degree in related field (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated skill in compliance auditing procedures
  • Ability to perform detailed work accurately and within agreed upon deadlines
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
