Location: ONSITE 222 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ

Annual Compensation: $70,000.00

As the IT Field Support Technician, you are responsible for consulting with business leaders within their assigned operating division to plan, design, install, configure and maintain technology solutions that support the local business needs. Serves as the sole local "go to" person for all technology needs and is available to key business leaders and users on a 24 hour/day 7 day/week basis to support mission critical systems. Independently uses system analytical techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine all aspects of system functional specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2 support for deployed technology: monitor and tune systems for optimal performance.
  • Ensure data integrity through software/hardware evaluation, implementation, and management.
  • Maintain system configuration documentation and support system security (access, virus, patch management).
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware/software (OS, firmware, applications).
  • Troubleshoot desktop/laptop issues and support common software (e.g., MS Office, email, graphics).
  • Deploy and support devices (PCs, laptops, printers, phones) across corporate and remote sites.
  • Maintain asset inventories and perform cabling/wiring tasks as needed.
  • Respond to technical assistance requests; on-call evenings/weekends as required.
  • Coordinate end-user training, vendor support, and system maintenance.
  • Support specialized systems (e.g., MEDS) and assist network/telecom teams on-site.
  • Participate in IT/Operations meetings, committees, and documentation updates.
  • Assist with procurement (requisitions, shipping, receiving, installation).
  • Attend technical/security training and report security issues.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with IT standards and policies.

Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience

  • MS Windows system administration experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred certifications: CSE, MPC, A+
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer support skills
  • Effective communication skills with ability to interact across teams and management
