Location:Carroll, IA (51401) Job ID: #71276 Pay Range: $18-20 1st Shift - M-F, 600am - 200pm $18.00 p/hr 2nd Shift - M-F, 200pm - 1100pm $19.50 p/hr 3rd Shift - M-F, 1100pm - 700am $20.00 p/hr All work is On-site only Open to Candidates with US Citizenship ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION PAID TRAINING PROVIDED. THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION PAID TRAINING PROVIDED. Will consider any experience including: high school shop classes, Tech School Training, Vocations School Training, similar Military Training or Military experience, Wood Workers, Production Machine Operators, Manufacturing Machine Operators, Hobby Fabricators and other skills will be considered.Additionally, any experience with Deburring, Calibration, Inspection, Air Grinding machines, press machines, lathes, mills, CNC Machines, Manuel Machines or general Machine Operations is a plus. SUMMARY: * Operator is an Entry-Level position with no certification required. * This Entry level Machine Operator Positionat this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all machine specific operations. * Once Trained Machine Operators will train to have the basic ability to set-up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level II or above). * Once Trained Machine Operators will follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. * Operator follows and complies with established standard work practices under immediate supervision. * The operator will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Learn how to set-up and operate machinery according to standard work. * Learn how to make adjustments on machines * Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. * Understand and follow quality testing techniques * Learn how to inspect product using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment * Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions. * Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position. * Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities * Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business * Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Open to US Citizen candidates only * HS Diploma * Pass Background Checks * Pass Drug Test (10 panel) * Be flexible to work overtime, and/or weekend as needed * Be available to interview ASAP and Start work in 2 weeks ENTRYLEVEL POSITION PAID TRAINING PROVIDED.
