The Role in Brief:

Associate Director, Content Marketing (Thought Leadership & Research Focus)

Seramount's marketing team is looking for an entrepreneurial content creator and researcher to develop original thought leadership content that will generate demand for Seramount's growing set of talent solutions and increase overall awareness of the Seramount brand with Chief HR Officers and their teams.

This person will develop research agendas, lead research projects, and create short and long-form content (white papers, blogs, case studies, infographics, etc.) that address the major strategic, "up at night" issues facing corporate HR leaders. You connect the dots between our products, findings from our data analytics team, and our partner pain points to create compelling and differentiated narratives.

This position is open to hires in Washington, D.C.; Richmond, VA; or is open to remote employment within the continental U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead research projects from conception to completion, providing intellectual leadership and analytical direction throughout all stages of the research process, working through primary and secondary research, hypothesis generation and testing, rigorous analysis of findings, design and execution of implementation resources, and the final presentation and packaging of ideas. This role is comfortable engaging with senior level clients and internal stakeholders, moderating panel discussions at events and presenting their research as an expert.



  • Engage directly with senior HR and Talent leaders via interviews and roundtables.
  • Synthesize complex ideas into actionable insights and tools.
  • Effectively use persuasive writing and graphics to communicate ideas and information
  • Achieve high standards of productivity and effectively manage toward deadlines
  • Collaborate with commercial leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that new deliverables meet the needs of the business
  • Package research into rigorous, appealing, and digestible content; propose and test new channels and formats to share insights


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record
  • 5-6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, content, or product roles with strong research focus
  • Demonstrated outstanding writing and presentation skills
  • Proven exceptional writing for whitepapers, executive communications
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative methods and data analysis tools
  • Track record in thought leadership content and storytelling
  • Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomously
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives in both oral and written formats
  • Experience with solution-focused problem solving and thinking through problems creatively
  • Experience working with clients in a consultative role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and meeting deadlines

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $65,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
