Overview

How you can make a difference

Join our team as a GenAI Data Scientist and become the architect of our next-generation detection, prevention, and automation strategies and models for enhanced fraud detection and cybersecurity capabilities. This is a game-changing role driving innovation with GenAI, building AI agents that proactively identify and mitigate fraud before it impacts our organization. Innovate with GenAI by leading the development of advanced tools that summarize complex case dossiers and recommend next steps, while continuously refining models for high precision in detecting cybercriminals. You'll build and deploy cutting-edge AI agents using platforms like Azure and Langchain, creating intelligent systems that can autonomously detect anomalous activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate and lead cross-functional efforts with internal investigations and law enforcement on synchronized fraud-ring takedown operations, constantly evolving detection patterns through threat intelligence.

What you'll be doing

Innovate with GenAI: Lead the development of retrieval-augmented GenAI tools to answer complex queries, auto-summarize case dossiers, and recommend next steps in fraud or security investigations. Continuously refine prompts, vector stores, and retrieval strategies to achieve high precision in detection for cybercriminals and fraudster related activities.
  • Build AI Agents: Design, build, and deploy AI agents that enhance fraud and security operations. Utilize tools like Copilot on Azure and Langchain to create intelligent systems that can detect anomalous activities in a fully autonomous or semi-supervised fashion.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Internal Investigations and law enforcement, to coordinate fraud-ring takedown operations. Ingest threat intelligence, and post-takedown activities to retrain models and evolve detection patterns.
  • Drive Innovation: Prototype advanced techniques such as graph neural networks and anomaly detection to predict emerging fraud tactics.
  • GenAI Assistant Development: Lead the development of retrieval-augmented LLM tools to answer analyst queries, auto-summarize case dossiers, and recommend next investigative steps. Continuously refine prompts, vector stores, and retrieval strategies for high precision in a fraud context.
  • AI Agent Deployment: Build and deploy AI agents for fraud detection and security using Azure and OpenAI frameworks. Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent Protocol for seamless communication between AI agents.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize large datasets to inform fraud detection models and generate actionable insights. Focus on building AI agents without the need for deep expertise in image-based AI models.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Internal Investigations, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies on evidence gathering and synchronized fraud-ring takedown operations.

What you will need to be successful

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Azure and OpenAI frameworks. Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent Protocol.
  • Innovative Mindset: Strong understanding of building and deploying AI agents, with a focus on fraud detection and security applications.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights.
  • Education: Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field preferred.
