Responsibilities
- Being a 'constant customer advocate' and providing advance level post-sales support to Keysight customers located primarily in North America
- Assists customers debug their networking equipment, such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, ADCs, DPI devices, routers and switches both on hardware and virtual platforms.
- Assists customers with operations, programming and configuration of Keysight hardware and software (including hardware and software upgrades, product installations and licensing issues)
- Coordinate across multiple fast-paced departments, including Sales, R&D and Quality Assurance to configure, debug and/or deploy Ixia/Keysight's proprietary application and resiliency test equipment and solutions
- Comfortable working in live customer networks, including analyzing TCP/IP and higher OSI layers, security protocol exchanges, packet errors, packet related problems and complex live-network performance and resiliency configurations with next generation security devices (Firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc).
- Triaging customer reported product failures and taking actions to resolve issues by investigating, analyzing and testing customer issues both live or in a lab environment with Ixia/Keysight hardware and software.
- Execute System/Sanity Tests on R&D builds to discover bugs a in new features prior to release deployment.
- Proactively eliciting feedback from Keysight customer base regarding product functionality and quality and communicating with Product Management and Development teams for integration in the form of actionable deliverables.
- Write detailed technical white papers and knowledge-based articles.
- Remaining steps ahead of cutting edge networking and security technologies and new Ixia/Keysight product offerings.
- Always striving to achieve customer satisfaction and Support metric goals
Qualifications
- BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with focus on Internet/Networking/Security domain; industry recognized certifications are desirable.
- TCP/IP networking background a requirement.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience with OSI Layers 4-7 protocols and technologies ranging from Application traffic analysis, routing and load balancing.
- Experience on configuration of firewalls, routers, switches, etc. DPI/IPS/IDS/ADC equipment knowledge a plus
- Experience in SSL/TLS, Security and Threat paradigms and landscape (DDoS, DoS, Attacks, Malware, Evasions, Botnets, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively
- Some travel as needed for training and business meetings
