Join American Family Insurance as the Senior Manager of People Analytics, providing strategic and roadmap oversight for all aspects of our HR analytics portfolio. This role is important to developing, iterating, and leading the strategy for our Talent Analytics team and portfolio, overseeing our reporting and analysis framework to drive strategic people decisions. The team leverages data to gain insights into our workforce, fostering an engaged, diverse, and productive environment within the organization. You will be accountable for analytics support in workforce planning, engagement, employee lifecycle, and inclusion efforts, as well as designing interactive tools to empower our leaders with applicable data. You will be reporting to the Director of Business Systems and Analytics.

Position Compensation Range:

$111,000.00 - $190,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Collaborative Team Environment: Cultivate a high-performing team dedicated to delivering advanced talent analytics solutions. Promote an environment of continuous learning and adaptation to evolving HR trends.
  • Project Management Excellence: Oversee HR analytics projects from initiation to completion, partnering with stakeholders to idenfity and scope new opportunities for reporting and analysis applications. Utilize project management best practices to ensure efficient and effective implementations.
  • Visionary Influence: Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicates and supports organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the development of dashboards and models, driving automation and continuous improvements in our reporting processes and scalability
  • Communicate with Clarity: Responsible for communication and delivery of reporting analytics products results to business partners and executives, supporting socialization and adoption of analysis results into business activities and decisions.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating business implications of data relationships and results of financial models to multiple business partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in public speaking and use of appropriate presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading large complex projects related to analytics.

Preferred Specialized Knowledge & Skills


  • Demonstrated experience with human capital management systems and analytics platforms such as Workday, GCP, or Tableau.

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. You should reside within approximately 50 miles from the following office location: Madison, WI 53783
