Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Natural Language Processing & Intelligent Automation Analyst to join our innovative team supporting a DoD Agency as they establish their Chief Data and AI Office. This role is at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning. We are seeking a candidate eager to apply their expertise to real-world business process challenges for our government and defense sector clients. This person filling this role will collaborate with both our AI and RPA teams to deliver actionable insights and intelligent automation solutions using the UiPath platform. Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and process automation developers and analysts while working in a fast paced and innovative environment
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML processes with experience with scoping AI use cases, and preparing data for modeling and deployment.
  • Familiarity with OCR tools and using NLP to process data from a large batch of unstructured scanned documents
  • Experience using Python NLP libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, and scikit-learn
  • Experience applying Hugging Face transformers, and fine-tuning LLMs
  • Experience with advanced text data pre-processing using NLP for ML inputs, including engineering model features from unstructured text
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and ethical AI practices
  • Consult and provide guidance on implementing AI and ML technologies, techniques, processes, and procedures to enhance and transform current business processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients on AI/ML best practices, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical requirements to help them establish and scale their AI capabilities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Experience working with government clients, specifically the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools
  • Certifications in relevant AI/ML technologies
