Job Description The BU TWI Manager functions as an internal master trainer for the delivery of standard TWI J-Programs and an internal coach to guide successful adoption, implementation, and expansion of TWI within the business unit. A foundational element of the Cornerstone Production System (CPS) Team Member Performance (TMP) pillar, Training Within Industry (TWI) is a front-line leadership development system focused on people at the point of work. TWI fosters process stability by building supervisors' skills in Leading, Instruction, Improving Methods and Job Safety, enabling the achievement of true standardized work and accelerated organizational learning. Primary Responsibilities Governance Collaborate with Sr. TWI Manager, CPS Program Management, and internal Steering Committees to drive integration and refine process definition of TWI Systems and Tools, including, but not limited to: Sustainment Systems, Organizational Roles & Responsibilities, Steering Committee Charters & Agendas, internal reporting systems, and pro-forma 3-year planning. Engage in cross BU reflection, best practice, and read-across events with internal consortium of TWI practitioners. Implementation 1. Preparation: Drive Prep for Success Workshops to articulate 5W+1H (Who, What, Where, When, Why & How) details for implementation. Process includes group reflection on baseline operating performance, prioritization and selection of pilot project(s), assignment of SQDCT metrics, KPO and KPI's, pilot team member selection and development of communication plans. 2. Education: Conduct awareness training of TWI Programs, standardized work training and skill acquisition through 10-hour J-Program courses (JI, JR, JM, JS) and CPS College Awareness training. 3. Adoption: Facilitate skill development through learn-by-doing, proof-of concept through pilot projects, workplace practice and coaching by internal and external expert trainers as required. 4. Integration: Support site integration of TWI activities into daily routines and tiered accountability systems, including Training Timetables and planning, Process Confirmation Audits, new employee onboarding, measurement of project KPI performance, and Leader Standard Work. 5. Training and Coaching Capability (Certification): Coordinate development of internal expert trainers through Trainer Development 40-hour courses (JI, JR, JM, JS) facilitated by TWI Institute. 6. Continuation: The phase concludes the pilot phase and serves to plan for TWI expansion. Activities include post-pilot assessments, KPI checks, read-across and best-practice sharing, remedial coaching, strategy alignment checks, and expansion planning. System Management: Contribute to continuous improvement of TWI integration through application of technologies that streamline critical deployment elements: process documentation, training curriculum and coursework, training assignment and assessment, frontline communication, administration, multilingual support. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - 140,000+ 10% Bonus+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
