Business Development, Senior Analyst

Sabre Systems is seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst to support and enhance our federal growth strategy. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our business development pipeline, coordinating with capture teams and operational leadership, and ensuring timely, accurate updates to our internal BD systems. Location: This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate must be within a commutable distance to the Sabre System's office in Lexington Park, MD and be actively engaged across Sabre's business market regions.

This individual will be responsible for organizing and maintaining internal Business Development (BD) databases, and routinely updating Pipeline (CRM) information. Routinely coordinate activities and communicate with Operational Line Groups, and Capture, BD, and Proposal teams.

Leads in ongoing BD activities to include:

  • Assist with processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs).
  • Coordinate scheduling requirements for Business Development and Capture meetings, including distribution of minutes.
  • Assist with maintaining opportunity record updates to CRM.
  • Create, generate, and distribute Pipeline (CRM) reports, as needed.
  • Perform research and analysis of BD opportunities using GovWin, FedBizOps and other available resources, and monitor government websites for solicitation notices, and routinely complete status updates in CRM for currency and completeness.
  • Assist with generating RFI responses, White Papers, and other pre-proposal related information requests.
  • Assist with proposal coordination, including collection and dissemination of data calls both internally within Sabre as well as to subcontractors/teammates.
  • Track data call progress via a tracking spreadsheet, ensure complete responses are uploaded in proposal files, and maintain communication across the team on issues with outstanding data call responses; update status in CRM as needed.
  • Plan for, coordinate, and as needed attend BD activities such as Industry conferences and symposium exhibits; coordinate with Marketing and Communication (MARCOM) Group in developing annual schedule of events.
  • Support BD training initiatives, including meetings and strategic session facilitation support.
  • Support Marketing Department with collateral materials and information as needed.

Experience and ability to support highly desired:

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining internal proposal libraries, including updates to past performance summaries, proposal resumes, technical library content, executive summaries, transition plans, and management plans.
  • Ensure proper interaction between the Subject Matter Experts, Strategic Advisors, Proposal Team and Proposal Managers; keep content libraries up to date with the most recent information available.
  • During surge cycles, be able to support Proposal Team with setting up Proposal Meetings to include Proposal Team Tag-Ups, Proposal Kick-Off meetings, Color Team Reviews, Technical Solutioning meetings, and Cost Strategy meetings.
  • Assist with maintaining currency of corporate contract vehicle listing, and track teaming agreements against final contract workshare allocations for both prime and subcontractor positions.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) + years of experience in Business Development and/or Capture Management.
  • Strong writing, communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of contacts and contract vehicles a plus.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Existing business or business relationships across any or multiple government agencies is desired.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and/or Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification is desired.
  • An acitve DoD Secret Clearance or higher is desired.

Compensation

Senior Level: At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The general salary range for this position is $70,000-$200,000; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
