Printpack is seeking a qualified IT Security Engineer II with hands on and progressive information security design and implementation experience.

The information security group has corporate responsibility over software asset management, identity access management, security architecture, administration, policies, training, third-party management, IT disaster recovery and business continuity.

The IT Security Engineer II is responsible for supporting the enterprise information security group by participating in the design, deployment, and administration of various security controls. The IT Security Engineer II is expected to integrate into a cross-functional team supporting endpoint security, data loss prevention, intrusion detect and prevention, identity management, vulnerability management, and SIEM platforms.

Based on the applicant's experience and preference, choose one or more security platforms to "own" acting as the internal SME. The ideal candidate will be expected to support an array of different platforms both on and off premises including both SaaS and IaaS offerings. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Installation, configuration, and administration of security systems and tools
  • Proactively maintain Enterprise security and infrastructure services.
  • Working both individually and as part of the larger Incident Response team Investigate, Respond and Triage Security Incidents affecting the Printpack Infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Vulnerability Management platforms as part of a wider patch management program.
  • Implement and maintain DLP controls.
  • Assist with SIEM management with a strong focus on ensuring appropriate log coverage across various tools and technologies.
  • Assist with the management of NGAV and EDR tools to ensure proper coverage and visibility is maintained.
  • Support company-wide compliance of security policies, procedures, and user guides.
  • Mentor others in the information security and infrastructure teams with security best practices.
Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of networking and system administration.
  • Advanced understanding of several of the defined security domains.
  • Expert understanding of at least one security domain.
  • Experienced with managing and deploying SIEM and endpoint protection technologies.
  • Experience with the implementation and support of IPS, IDS, and Zero Trust network security tools.
  • Knowledge of various cloud solutions, including SaaS, IaaS and PaaS offerings.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operations systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of M365, Azure, and associated technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell to automate tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge of IAM solutions, including Active Directory and various SSO technologies.
  • PAM experience a plus.
  • Advanced experience with Vulnerability Management solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure and Office365 security controls including their design and deployment.
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to capture requirements with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with managers, subject matter experts and development teams
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Preferred to hold an introductory to intermediate security certification, such as a Security+, CySA+, GCIH, CSX-P, etc.
