This position supports the Getinge site in Oldsmar, FL; Ultra Clean Systems.

As an FDA and ISO-regulated business, an NDA is required. This is a 5-day/week, on-site position.

Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Production Team Lead, the Production Assembly Associate will perform tasks that are necessary to theProductionprocess. They aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products.

The Production Assembly Associate will also maintain organized and tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.

Other duties to be performed as assigned by the Production Team Lead.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
* Prepares work to be accomplished with assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
* Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
* Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
* Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
* Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains supplies inventory by checking work ticket for inventory level verification; anticipating needed supplies.
* Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Working knowledge of equipment maintenance.
* Solid understanding of manufacturing quality systems
* Knowledge of mechanical inspection tools
* Tooling

* Power/hand tools
* Decision making skills

Minimum Requirements:
* Directly related and/or relevant experience, in lieu of education, will be considered
* High School diploma, GED preferred
* 1+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
* Basic math skills
* Basic computer skills

Quality Requirements:
* Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
* Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
* Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
* Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
* Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
* Must have excellent vision, coordination and dexterity to deal with handling and manipulating materials and parts.
* Responsible for understanding and conforming to the Environmental Policy to ensure that significant environmental aspects that relate to actual or potential impacts with their work are executed to minimized the effects on the environment.
* Responsible for bringing to the attention of management any potential improvements that could reduce our environmental impact or to report activities that could result in a negative impact to the environment.
* Responsible for understanding and conforming to the Health and Safety Policy to ensure that the significant risks that relate to actual or potential hazards with their work are identified.
* May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
* Must wear appropriate PPE as required. This includes:
o Safety Glasses
o Steel Toe Safety Shoes
o Gloves
o Ear Plugs
o Long sleeved shirts (to protect arms from sharp Sheet metal)
* Hearing necessary to receive and reply to outside contacts and employees.
* Ability to speak clearly in order to communicate with customers, vendors and employees in person.
* Must be willing to work in both sitting and standing positions for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift. Some bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting (up to 15 - 20 pounds) is required on occasion.
* Willingness to frequently move to various locations within building.
