Description |
We're looking for a hands-on Operations Leader to lead and develop our Greensboro team and ensure safe, reliable, efficient manufacturing performance.
This role owns the operations strategy for the site, developing a high-performing team and driving Lean and continuous improvement across all areas of the plant. |

What You'll Lead & Achieve
- Champion a world-class safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental, and personnel protection standards
- Deliver safe, on-time, in-full production that meets cost and quality targets
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team - building capability, succession, and future leaders
- Drive Lean / Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes
- Own manufacturing execution: labor strategy, workforce planning, and daily production performance
- Partner cross-functionally on new product introductions, technical scale-ups, and process enhancements
- Oversee site production budgeting, scheduling, and cost control initiatives
- Strengthen communication, alignment, and collaboration across shifts and functional teams
- Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, helping shape culture, engagement, and operational strategy
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Engineering discipline required
- 7-10 years in chemical manufacturing operations or related industrial production
- Supervisory and team-leadership experience with proven coaching and development capabilities
- Experience in PSM-regulated chemical, petrochemical, or refinery environments preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma training (Green Belt or Black Belt highly preferred)
- Strong safety mindset and continuous improvement mindset
- Financial and operational acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost control)
- Confident communicator who builds trust, alignment, and accountability
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
