Summary:
Assists the Executive Director in the execution of duties. Under the direction of the Executive Director provides analytical and specialized administrative support of a non-routine, non-repetitive nature. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports, recommendations for action by superior. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature and requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company practices, policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

* Provides reports to Home Office accounting and Executive Director. Works with the Home Office accounting department to reconcile problem accounts.

* Participates in internal and external financial audits.

* May be responsible for preparation and input of daily cash/checks deposits.

* May be responsible for community petty cash including reconciliation and distribution of funds to staff and residents.

* Maintains residential financial/face sheets/insurance information in accordance with Best Business Practices policy manual.

* Answer resident or family inquires on monthly charges and statements.

* Responsible for all accounting related to documenting, preparing, and distributing resident statements. May also be responsible for and/or assist with Residential receivables/billing.

* Directly supervises 4-5 employees who work as administrative support, including the Reception desk. Responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Competencies and skills:
Essential:
Knowledgeable in current State and Federal regulations
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Basic mathematical skills required
Must be able to recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately
Must be able to understand, follow, support and initiate policies and procedures

Credentials:

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
Associate's degree or 2 Years 2 years of related experience and/or training
Nonessential:
Bachelor's Degree

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
5 years related experience and/or training
