Sales Manager, Grocery & Specialty, Travel Required
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This sales position is individually responsible for driving revenue growth in multiple national and regional accounts as well as new channels of distribution/emerging accounts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute against profitable annual/season sales plans
- Develop & make fact-based sales presentations using category and market knowledge.
- Maintains strong Industry, Category, and Product knowledge. Shares this information with assigned customers.
- Provide S+OP and Demand Planning team with product level forecasts at the account level.
- Follow the appropriate Channel Strategy for assigned accounts.
- Addresses and responds to customer concerns and problems
- Manages an annual trade promotions fund
- Responsible for managing end to end planogram updates and execution
- Develop and ensure flawless execution of seasonal merchandising programs
- Provides Sales Leadership with monthly financial forecast @ customer or channel level
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- 2 - 4 years CPG industry sales experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid negotiation and execution skills
- Solid to strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong PC/Software Skills and Usage
- Strong knowledge and application of available selling tools, i.e. strategic selling platform.
