Hill International is seeking a Sr Project Manager in Seattle, Washington for a Terminal Electrification project. About Washington State Ferries (WSF): Washington State Ferries is the largest ferry system in the United States, providing vital transportation across Puget Sound. WSF is embarking on an ambitious System Electrification Program to electrify its ferry fleet and associated terminal infrastructure. This groundbreaking initiative will modernize the system, improve operational reliability, and significantly reduce the system's carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner, greener future for Washington State. Summary: Hill is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the terminal electrification efforts within the Program. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the successful planning, design, and construction of shore-side power infrastructure at multiple ferry terminals. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned engineer, or similar, with a strong background in electrical systems or power distribution, capable of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects and guiding diverse teams through final design and delivery. Beginning in July 2025, the Terminals Lead will oversee the initial planning of the shoreside components of the vessel charging system, the design of electrical system integration, and the design and installation of dedicated power distribution to the first four terminals (Seattle, Bainbridge, Clinton, and Bremerton).
The salary range for this position is $200,000-$245,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
