About the Role

Culmen International is hiring a Policy Analyst - Level III to provide support for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics, under the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, is responsible for the department's logistics strategy and policy, supply, storage and distribution, property and equipment, transportation, and program support functions.

The Transportation Directorate is responsible for establishing policies and providing guidance to DoD Components for efficient and effective use of DoD and commercial transportation resources. Transportation Policy is organized under the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics.

What You'll Do in Your New Role

    Experience with Vendor Threat Mitigation (VTM) including policies and guidance.
  • Experience supporting Department-level policy development, execution, and oversight of cross-functional programs.

  • Experience in the intelligence functional area to support cross-collaboration between sustainment, acquisition, and intelligence communities to institutionalize the VTM program.
  • Develops policy, guidance, and doctrine, and conducts research to support program improvements.
  • Extensive experience with managing a range of projects from studies through planning and executing working group and events and managing team workload to achieve objectives.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • DoD Active TS / SCI Clearance
  • A Master's degree can be substituted for two years of experience.



Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Communications, Management, Public Policy, Intelligence Studies, or a related discipline.
