  • Perform full life-cycle recruiting activities including creating requisitions, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, recommending hires, and delivering offers.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Source and engage talent through both traditional and non-traditional methods including job boards, career fairs, networking events, social media, and talent communities.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and employment regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with established recruiting processes and procedures, including timely and accurate documentation in the applicant tracking system.

  • Maintain regular communication with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

  • Participate in talent acquisition initiatives, team projects, and process improvement efforts.

  • Support diversity recruiting efforts and foster a positive candidate experience.

  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in identifying and engaging with top talent.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of full-cycle recruiting with a focus on technical and IT roles.

  • Proven experience or familiarity with aviation recruiting, including military aircraft platforms, aviation maintenance terminology, and FAA or DoD compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of IT certifications and technical requirements for engineering and technology roles.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.

  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workload.

  • Ability to follow structured processes and contribute to process improvement efforts.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.

  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and accountability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience; OR

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Prior experience recruiting for Information Technology and Engineering roles is required.

  • Strong understanding of IT and technical certifications.

  • Experience supporting government contracts or recruiting within a DoD or federal contractor environment is preferred.
