Who We're Looking For: The Tennessee Golf Foundation (TGF) is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Event Sales and Marketing Director. This position is responsible for assisting in the continued development and growth of TGF programs and initiatives in the Greater Knoxville area, sales for the Korn Ferry Tour's Visit Knoxville Open and key fundraising initiatives for the First Tee Tennessee Greater Knoxville. The position reports to the Regional Director. What You Will Do: TGF Knoxville Programs and Initiatives (60% of time) * Assist in the operations of all TGF Knoxville events, programming and fundraising initiatives * TGF Knoxville Pro-Am Series director * Lead marketing and communications efforts for TGF Knoxville operations * Content generation for various websites and social media accounts * Spearhead key First Tee Tennessee Greater Knoxville fundraising events and initiatives Visit Knoxville Open - Korn Ferry Tour (40% of time) * Tournament sales and marketing with a focus on: Product development and pricing Tournament hospitality package sales Monday and Wednesday Pro-Am Team sales Account management to deliver partner assets during the tournament * Tournament Execution: Support the operations staff in various tasks as needed during advance week Host and entertain prospects and existing clients during tournament events Tools for Success: * Knowledge and passion for the game of golf * Bachelor's degree preferred * 2+ years of previous sales experience preferred * 1+ year(s) of previous golf administration experience preferred * Verbal and written communication skills * Organizational skills and strong attention to detail required * Ability to multitask and prioritize * Ability to travel and work extended hours * Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.) * Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
