JOB MISSION:

The Associate Marketing Manager, Communication and Events at NB Development Group (NBDG) plays a pivotal role in promoting the vibrant Boston Landing neighborhood in Brighton, MA, with the ambition of establishing it as a top destination in the city. This position seeks a passionate marketing professional dedicated to driving engagement through innovative marketing, site activation, and compelling event programming. The Associate Manager will join a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with the Marketing, Events, and Business Development departments to effectively showcase the diverse retail, commercial, and sports facilities, including the Warrior Ice Arena and the TRACK at New Balance. Together, the team will craft impactful experiences that foster community connections and elevate the Boston Landing brand, making it a sought-after destination for residents and visitors alike.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead communication efforts between NBDG, property management, and retail/office tenants regarding campus happenings, marketing initiatives, and general support.
  • Conceptualize, plan, supervise, and execute activations and events at Boston Landing, serving as the on-site event representative.
  • Manage logistics for development events, including groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and openings, coordinating catering, guest lists, media, and site arrangements.
  • Maintain and manage image databases, marketing metrics tracking, and vendor relationships for creative, media, digital, and print services.
  • Oversee Boston Landing's social media presence.
  • Regularly update the Boston Landing, NB Development Group, and TRACK at New Balance websites, including IT requests and content management.
  • Handle invoice processing, budget tracking, event recaps, and collaborate with the office manager on related marketing materials and documentation.
  • For the TRACK at new balance, manage the tour request schedule and conduct facility tours, support social media initiatives including content creation, and collaborate with TRACK staff as needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Demonstrates expertise in emerging marketing trends and strategies to identify opportunities for enhancing brand awareness and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with a detail-oriented approach, creative and marketing-focused mindset, and strong verbal and written communication skills that ensure timely follow-up and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Experience with event planning, execution, and management.
  • Availability to work occasional varied hours, nights, and weekends based on event calendar.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
