Position Summary:

YU Connects fosters healthy meeting opportunities & relationships toward building more Jewish homes and families. We rely on research and education to inform our approach, which values quality and training. The Program Administrator will report to and work closely with the Program Manager by providing ongoing operational and technical support to the program's various staff and members. This position requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. It also requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as comfort with learning new technologies.

Position Responsibilities:
|
The Program Administrator position requires 35 hours per week. This position is a hybrid of on-campus and remote work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Member Support & Communication - Provide daily support and communication related to the member database.
- Database Administration - Assist with database management, including generating reports as requested by staff.
- Data Management - Manage data and communication efforts focused on member success (Engagements).
- Event Support - Offer logistical support for events, including preparing promotional materials, managing registration, handling communications, and overseeing follow-up processes. Attendance at both virtual and in-person events may be required.
- Content Creation - Draft communications and design visual materials (e.g., flyers) to support program initiatives.
- Digital Communications - Contribute to the organization's communication efforts across various channels, including social media and website updates.

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-3 years of related experience is required.
|
Skills & Competencies:
|
- Speaks clearly and expresses oneself well in one-on-one conversations and groups.
- Develops effective written communications and uses them appropriately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Interacts and proactively shares information with internal and external contacts where appropriate.
- Proactive in anticipating problems and assumes responsibility to ensure concerns are addressed.
- Effectively manages own time and resources.
- Good political judgment and sensitivity, and the wisdom to elevate problems, with good recommendations to the Program Manager.
- Must possess a basic understanding of the Jewish community and knowledge of basic Jewish/Hebrew terms.

Salary Range:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
