We're looking for a Clinical Dietitian who brings both expertise and heart to their work. The ideal candidate will be:

Position Summary

The Dietitian develops and implements nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines. This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy and services that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives.
  • Provides high quality, evidence-based, efficient, customer-focused medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition screening, assessment, care planning and education for appropriate nutrition intervention.
  • Recommends and helps manage specialized nutrition support for patients when appropriate.
  • Communicates and coordinates with physician and other health care personnel as needed on the nutrition care plan of the patients.
  • Evaluates the need for medical nutrition therapy education and develops a plan based on learning needs and evaluates the effectiveness of the education process. Includes family or others in the process as identified necessary.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness and measures progress towards outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. Reassesses nutrition care process and implements changes as indicated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Washington State (DOH) Dietitian Certification required.
  • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
  • Minimum Two (2) years clinical dietetics experience preferred
  • Outpatient medical nutrition therapy experience preferred
  • Board Certification in Oncology preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.46 - $49.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
