Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Manager: a creative, digitally savvy individual with a genuine passion for event marketing. In this key role, you will be instrumental in executing successful marketing initiatives and campaigns that boost brand awareness and drive revenue for our flagship boat and yacht shows.

Your primary focus will be on attracting and engaging attendees, targeting both new and existing customers. You excel in visual and written storytelling and possess experience in cross-team collaboration, critical thinking, project management, and hands-on campaign execution-both in planning and on-site.

You bring experience acrossdigital web and email marketing, understanding how these efforts integrate into the broader marketing strategy for our entire boat show portfolio. You will play a crucial role in merging digital strategies with traditional marketing, ensuring that our campaigns and messaging are cohesive and impactful.

This role is based in our Fort Lauderale, FL Office, and will onsite 5 days a week.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY AND DUTIES:

  • Design and execute effective, automated email marketing campaigns to drive attendee registrations and brand awareness.
  • Segment customer databases to develop persona-based email strategies, ensuring relevant messaging for different target audiences.
  • Write creative, impactful, conversion-optimized marketing copy for email marketing campaigns and show websitesensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Take ownership of show websites' design, functionality, content updates, and SEO.
  • Support the development and end-to-end execution of year-round marketing strategies.
  • Oversee and execute the creation of marketing materials from concept to delivery; project manage internal team resources and external agencies to deliver material within budget/timeline.
  • Lead the development and ensure accuracyof printed and digital show directories, exhibitor listings, event maps, and mobile applications.
  • Ensure consistent use of established branding, core value proposition messaging, imagery, and positioning across all marketing materials, graphics, communications, etc.
  • Collaborate with industry thought leaders to host educational seminars at the shows. This includes gathering content from the speakers, coordinating onsite conference logistics, and incorporating the collected content into all marketing communications and materials.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics across all digital channels, including website analytics, email campaign performance, and third-party agency results, using this data to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Actively contribute creative ideas for new campaign initiatives based on past campaign performance, current trends, and understanding of business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the fulfillment team to execute marketing-related sponsorships.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of proven work experience within the marketing space
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relatedfield
  • A highly-organized entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to take projects and run with them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating website landing pages and email campaigns
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and adapts to changing situations and requirements
  • Project management experience
  • A keen eye for creating visually engaging emails, digital campaigns, and webpages
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and develop reports used to provide insight to key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in email automation and web creation platforms, experience with Eloqua and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Experience within the yachting and boating industry is a plus.
  • Light travel and select weekends throughout the year are required to provide onsite show support.

The salary range for this role is $70,000- $79,000 based on experience.
