Responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors to Lee Healths Golisano Childrens Hospital (GCH). Serves as a key leader on the Lee Health Foundation team, responsible for driving philanthropic support to benefit GCH with management responsibilities for Barbaras Friends, Golisano Childrens Hospital Pediatric Cancer Fund, overseeing all fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement efforts to support children battling cancer and blood disorders. This position manages a dynamic portfolio of 125150 major and principal gift donors and prospects, developing and executing tailored strategies to secure gifts of $25,000 and above. In this highly visible role, the Senior Director will collaborate with senior hospital leadership, physicians, board members, grateful families, and volunteers to align donor interests with institutional priorities and ensure a donor-centered experience. Works in a metrics and goal driven environment requiring a minimum face-to-face visit with donors, dollar goals, and works effectively with other members of the Foundation team on identifying, cultivating and stewarding major donors. RequirementsEducation: Bachelors Degree required. Masters preferred. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in nonprofit development, with a proven track record of securing major gifts and leading donor strategies. Experience soliciting major or planned gifts preferred. Certification: Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and/or CAP Designation preferred. License: N/A Other: Experience working in healthcare philanthropy or with pediatric or oncology programs is strongly preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire donors and lead through influence. Comfortable engaging with patients and families in emotionally sensitive healthcare environments. Strong project management, organizational, and leadership abilities. US:FL:Fort Myers |
