POSITION SPECIFICS

The Marketing Operations Specialist will report to the Senior Director and is responsible for developing, facilitating, and troubleshooting a variety of marketing processes and communications needs across the marketing and communications team in support of client requests, as well as college-wide internal relationship-building in coordination with the client relations specialist.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and refine the infrastructure, processes, and complex communications workflow systems needed to effectively and efficiently support the marketing needs of the college.

  • Serve as the team expert in email marketing platform management, including email creation, list management, training, maintenance, and scheduling.

  • Collaborate with the senior director and client relations specialist to establish team priorities with the goal of client relationship-building across departments and units seeking communications and marketing solutions.

  • Coordinate the flow of leadership communications for all dean-level messaging and serve as the connection between the executive assistant and the communications team.

  • Oversee the annual project calendar and general status of in-process projects.

  • Create monthly email newsletter publications for audiences that include: undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty and staff.

  • Assist the client relations specialist in survey and focus group development, organization, and facilitation.

  • Serve as the team liaison with Engineering IT for technology needs and support.

  • Assist with coordinating onboarding for new staff and interns.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 - $67,300.00.
