Overview: This is a highly-skilled position requiring advanced knowledge of boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, control system maintenance and operation, plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and painting. The skills required for this position will allow the incumbent to resolve repair issues independently with little to no supervision. The position will support small and midsize hospitals, critical access hospitals, small inpatient/outpatient facilities, and clinics. The Facility Systems Technician provides the necessary skill to operate, maintain, and repair various electrical/plumbing systems, movable equipment, physical plant equipment, furniture, walls, ceilings, and floors. Utilizes exceptional customer service and communication skills. The purpose of this position is to ensure a safe working environment and support an exceptional Environment of Care for Mercy. Preferred Qualifications Education: 2 or more year of training in a Technical or Vocational School. Licensure: Boiler, HVAC, or Refrigeration. Electrical and or Plumbing.
