What You'll Do:

Lead proactive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives across your assigned region
Partner with facility managers to conduct incident investigations and develop impactful safety training
Drive regional safety audits, including 6S+ standards, and lead continuous improvement efforts
Travel regularly (50%-60%) to 4-7 facilities within your region, with occasional travel nationwide
Collaborate across all levels - from warehouse teams to leadership - building a culture of safety excellence
Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA)
Stay current on industry trends and provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements
Serve as a critical support contact for EHS-related emergencies (24/7 availability required)

This role operates hands-on in manufacturing and warehouse environments, often working near heavy machinery.

What You Bring to the Team:

3+ years of professional safety experience (minimum 1 year in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial settings)
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations
Excellent incident investigation, root cause analysis, and training facilitation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel regionally up to 60% and occasionally nationwide
Ability to obtain OSHA 10/30 certification (if not already held) within 60 days of hire
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and trainer credentials within 90 days of hire
Effective communicator and coach at all organizational levels

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, or a related field
Proven track record managing large projects or building safety programs
