Oasis IAM is seeking a Full-Time Highway Maintenance Technician I to perform maintenance support for local roadways and highways in the Miami-Dade County and Miami Lakes area. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges!

What You'll Do:

• Performs Roadway Sign Maintenance and M.O.T. experience.
• Cleans and grades ditches, stormwater drainage structures, highway road shoulders, slopes.
• Performs general maintenance duties such as fence repair, sign repair and replacement, and litter and debris removal.
• Repairs and replaces guardrail components and attenuators.
• Performs concrete structural repair to sidewalks and bridges or overpasses.
• Fills and patches asphalt pavement potholes and distresses.
• Performs Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) / temporary traffic control
• Provide after-hours emergency incident response during scheduled on-call rotation.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Performs preventative maintenance on company vehicles or equipment.
• Makes minor low-voltage lighting and electrical repairs.
• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment such as bed edgers, commercial mowers (z-turns and bush hogs), tractors, mini-excavators, skid steers, gators, blowers, dump trailers, chain saws, line trimmers, forklifts, and more.
• Drives company trucks, towing trailers, and rolling arrow boards if necessary.
• Logs maintenance work-order information and checklists manually and electronically
• Loads and unloads equipment, supplies, tools, and material.
• Use all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

• 1 year of experience construction and maintenance experience and skills
• 1 year of experience and skills with heavy equipment and tools for maintenance and landscaping work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and standard software applications.
• Must possess and maintain an active and valid Florida driver's license without restrictions.
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
• Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL A or B
• Road Maintenance experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• MOT Certified
• Experience with structure, signs, traffic signals and road fence maintenance.

Location Requirements

The position will primarily work onsite in Miami Lakes, FL.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $17 - $21 per hour
