Director Division Industry & Infrastructure (Americas Region) Your tasks
Position Summary: The Director Division Industry and Infrastructure (Region Americas) is the executive head of the regional Industry & Real Estate & Infrastructure division, reporting directly to the CEO of TUV SUD Americas and aligned with the global leadership. The role holds full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow responsibility and shapes the regional business strategy in close collaboration with country CEOs. It will oversee the division's strategic development, resource allocation, commercial success, innovation agenda, and ensure service excellence across North, Central, and South America. This position follows a hybrid work model and may be based at any of our North America locations, including Wakefield, MA; Alpharetta, GA; Auburn Hills, MI; New Brighton, MN; Plymouth, MI; Brecksville, OH; Woodbridge, ON; or San Diego, CA. Responsibilities: - Strategic & Business Leadership Reposition underdeveloped business areas by building team capabilities and scaling high-potential service lines aligned with sustainability and innovation goals Shape and challenge commercial strategy, including pricing and positioning, in close collaboration with Business Line Leaders Define and execute the regional I+I strategy in alignment with global objectives Drive revenue growth and profitability across core service lines (e.g. industrial asset services, ESG, Net Zero consulting) Identify strategic partnerships and acquisition targets; lead integration and scaling of acquired teams Oversee investment planning and resource allocation to support business priorities Adapt global initiatives to regional market needs and define competitive, margin-optimized pricing strategies Deliver measurable impact within 12-18 months through business momentum and team growth across the region - Risk, Governance & Compliance Ensure robust governance, internal controls, and risk management in line with TUV SUD policies and regulations Oversee compliance with legal, certification, and procedural requirements across the region Manage contract governance, risk reporting, and regulatory filings - Client Engagement & Market Presence Shape commercial strategy through input on pricing, positioning, and market approach Build trusted relationships with key clients, investors, and public stakeholders Represent I+I at industry events and technical forums to strengthen market visibility Collaborate with global Key Account Managers on integrated, cross-border solutions Position TUV SUD as a leading partner for industrial and infrastructure services in the Americas - Organizational Leadership & Transformation Lead and develop a high-performing international management team across countries and units Drive transformation in digitalization, SMART inspection, and data-driven innovation Foster a culture of performance, accountability, integrity, diversity, and customer focus Advance technical capability development and cross-border knowledge sharing Ensure strong on-site leadership through regular presence and travel across the Americas Your qualifications
Education and Experience: Advanced degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Management, or related field (MBA preferred) 10+ years of senior leadership experience in TIC, real estate/infrastructure consulting, insurance or industrial services Fundamental competencies form the foundation for individual and organizational success in TUV SUD and apply to all employees and showcase behaviors aligned to TUV SUD values and culture cornerstones: Communication Collaboration Customer Orientation Self-Management Additional Information
