Opportunity at a Glance The Director, Media Operations will be a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of media operations. This role involves identifying operational requirements, streamlining processes, and ensuring the effective execution of media campaigns to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in media platforms and analytics, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence and innovation. This candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing platforms, measurement & experimentation methodologies, and media enabling data flow ecology. Responsibilities Strategic Execution
Work cross-functionally with Enrollment, Product/Technical specialists, and Partners to synthesize technical and strategic business requirements into cohesive business cases and drive operational excellence.
Leadership
Translate the organization's overall strategy into clear operational goals. Lead teams through technological transitions, workflow redesigns, or strategic shifts, ensuring buy-in and smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
Articulate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders, report on performance, present strategic plans, and manage vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Platform Proficiency:
Data and Analytics:
Thorough understanding of lead data workflows across various platforms Knowledge of tracking logic, tag management, and attribution methodologies Ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues and ensure measurement accuracy across campaigns and channels Proficiency with Google Analytics 4
Process and Optimization:
Ability to identify operational requirements, create and organize streamlined processes Skill in identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices Proven ability to build process and improve documentation Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Problem Solving and Risk Management:
Foresight to identify potential operational risks and develop robust contingency plans Capacity to analyze complex operational issues, evaluate potential solutions, and implement effective fixes
Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication:
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, especially between marketing, analytics, technology teams, and agencies Ability to articulate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders Experience in managing vendor relationships
Lead Management and Conversion:
Ability to own the end-to-end flow of qualified leads Capability to innovate to derive increased value from lead generation through enrollment conversion Ability to establish clear processes and accountability across internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive lead flow continuity Skill in creating feedback loops to apply learnings, run experiments, and continuously improve the effectiveness of media efforts Ability to travel - 10%.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,171 and $181,034. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
